Eligibility

  • Application must have a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt status.
  • Applicant’s service area must be one or more of the following counties: Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Hays, Fayette, Lee, Llano, Travis, Williamson. Currently priority will be given to programs in Hays, Travis and Williamson counties.

Length of Grant Cycle
Grant awards are made for a twelve-month period. Partner agencies that meet the requirements of their current grant contract and demonstrate successful outcomes will be eligible to apply for new funding the following year.

Letter of Inquiry
All agencies requesting funding for the first time are required to submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI).  Current grant partners are not required to submit an LOI. Only agencies who do not currently receive St. David's Foundation funding must submit an LOI. LOIs that fit the Foundation’s program areas and funding priorities will be invited to submit a full proposal.
Before beginning the online LOI application, we recommend that you review the Foundation’s Goals, Program Areas, and Priorities. Requests must be submitted in the form of an online application.  Please see the directions below for using the online application system. The LOI form is available in PDF format if you would like to see the questions before starting the online application.

Full Proposal
Full Proposals for the Health Access grants are accepted by invitation only and should not be submitted unless requested by a Foundation staff member in response to an LOI. St. David’s Community Health Foundation will provide organizations that are invited to submit a Full Proposal with additional instructions for using the online application system for Full Proposals.

A number of supporting documents are required to complete your application. These requirements vary for the Letter of Inquiry and Full Proposal. When possible, please attach the required documents using the upload option on the online application or send via email. Any documents that cannot be submitted electronically can be mailed to:
