Toast of the Town is the Foundation's signature fundraising event. It is a series of parties that occur from mid-April to mid-May each spring and raise money for the W. Neal Kocurek St. David's Scholarship Fund. Parties are generally held in private homes and feature a variety of special guests, including entertainers, sports figures, chefs and artists.
How can I get involved?
Join the Toast of the Town Committee. The committee meets about once a month from July to January to plan the next spring's Toast parties. We are always looking for energetic, enthusiastic people who will bring fresh ideas to Toast of the Town!
Host a Toast party. Host groups- whether one couple or ten- plan each Toast of the Town party and underwrite the event costs. Party hosts are invited to attend a special "Preludes & Accolades Preview Party" in February as thanks for their contribution to Toast of the Town and the Foundation.
